Hi! I’m Sarah.
I lost 3 babies in the first trimester and walked through almost 5 years of infertility. I understand the weight of grief and the guilt and disorientation that early pregnancy loss brings. In my losses, Jesus met me in my pain and healed my heart. Peace is possible in your pain as well.

your miscarriage with Jesus
Many of us who have experienced early pregnancy loss have believed that our loss is “lesser” than women who have experienced losses later in pregnancy.
We have minimized our own loss. Others may have minimized our loss as well. We may not have allowed ourselves to grieve because we think our grief isn’t that big of a deal. We think we need to move on and try again.

The truth is your loss matters. Your baby was made in God’s image. Your loss is not less than in God’s eyes. Your baby’s life matters, so your grief matters as well.
Research also shows that “While it is often assumed women have not yet formed strong attachments in the early stages of pregnancy, the length of pregnancy has been shown to have no association with the level of psychological distress experienced if the pregnancy is lost.” LINK – https://doi.org/10.1186/s12905-018-0672-3 — to “RESEARCH”

What readers are saying about Sarah’s forthcoming book
This book was a gift of healing I didn’t even realize I needed. It helped me uncover wounds I thought I had moved past and gave me space to grieve what went unspoken and minimized. I am not one for journaling, but the prompts started conversations with God and my husband that I didn’t know how to begin on my own. Years after our losses, my husband and I are finally talking about and working past the unintentional hurts we caused each other.

This book is such an important and meaningful resource for women navigating the heartbreak of early pregnancy loss. I wish it had been available to me during that season of my life, as it would have provided comfort, understanding, and reassurance during a time that can feel incredibly isolating…. I highly recommend it to anyone who has experienced pregnancy loss or wants to better support someone who has.
